What would be the point of #2? Humans have bad reaction time at emergencies most the time.
- JackCh 8y agoPresumably the point of #2 is that it's easier than the implied #3 ("The computer always drives") which is their as-of-yet unrealized goal. Of course deploying #2 into the wild may prove to be ethically unjustifiable. Being easier than the implied #3 is a poor excuse.
