I read like this "low-fat" == "I-care-about-my-health" ... but I don't care about sugar. Or maybe I'm missing why people get low-fat milk. I find the full fat tastes better.

Some people prefer skim milk because they grew up on a farm, and the milk was always skimmed in order to produce cream/butter.
