That's for modern humans. Bone density studies of humans ~10,000 years ago suggest our muscles were much stronger.
- Retric 8y agoEndurance runners are not generally strong. Upper body strength for example is counter productive. Further, Olympic paces are maintained by people getting aided with sports drinks at regular intervals etc. It's very different from the conditions primitive people would have lived.
