The 9.9 Percent Is the New American Aristocracy
- sddfd 8y agoThe first graphics clearly shows that the 0.1% increased their wealth disproportionately in the recent years. It does not show this for the 9.9%, so I'm not quite able to follow the conclusion.
- Eridrus 8y agoI think a lot of people agree with this article though. A lot of people who are struggling with economic hardships do not really differentiate between the 0.1% and the 9.9% described here.
- ttonkytonk 8y agoHis point is that the 9.9% didn't suffer any of the losses that went to the top, therefore they're insulated, i.e. an "aristocracy".
