- spurgu 8y agoYeah this was my first thought as well. :( Like we need more effective methods of raping the oceans. Hopefully the scientific research will cover the potential drawbacks.
- semi-extrinsic 8y agoOne upshot of better tech is significantly less bycatch, at least in regions where per-species quotas are strictly enforced. I'm told the latest sonars can distinguish both the species and age of fish in a shoal.
