I really like the idea of this, but how many jobs posted here are for senior or high experience positions? The whiteboard filter can still happen at any of these companies in junior developer ranks.
This just creates elitism where the "senior" developers get nice hiring processes, and the junior developers get stuck with traditional torture.
- taurath 8y agoI think its still valid if someone doesn't have a good-size body of work, however the more CS heavy it is and unrelated to the actual work the more you're optimizing for "did this person recently graduate with a CS degree".
