- d_r 16y agoFor that, Air Video has worked great for me. (There's a free version that shows up to N files in a folder, if you want to try it out first.)
- damienfir 16y agoAir Video is nice, but you can't store movies for travelling.
- grourk 16y agoZumoCast has that functionality (a download button, for offline viewing).
- radley 16y agoOr just use Plex - a bit smarter than AIR Video - it includes placeholders so you can stop watching in the living room (via computer) and start from the same spot in bed (via iPad/iPhone).
- daniel02216 16y agoCheck out 'Air Video', plays anything from your machine to your iPad over wifi without syncing. Works remarkably well.

- bphogan 16y agoI recommend StreamToMe. It's the best $3 I've spent. Transcodes on the fly, works great. We watched cartoons in the car. (iPad tethered to my 3g android phone).
