This article doesn't ring true for me at all. I'm a recent (last year) university grad from a "software engineering" program that was super heavily focused on electrical engineering and low-level embedded stuff. I currently work as an embedded software engineer. Maybe it's the only program like this left, but I doubt that. Where does the author back up his claims that universities are shifting away from offering this?
