Depends when you came, some folk are only just discovering online discourse. I'm a member of 'a' forum, and it still fosters conversation. To me it feels similar to an old usenet 'channel'. I'll admit it's not as zany and anonymous as it perhaps once felt. Back then we rather foolishly thought it was more ephemeral. I blush when glancing old posts. Such is - I guess.
