Its spam because all you're doing is linking to the mastodon website, instead of actually talking and joining the conversation.
- Sir_Cmpwn 8y agoI respectfully disagree. I could regurgitate the content on the website but that would hardly be any more substantive. Often these threads lead to curious people asking questions about Mastodon, and I'm happy to answer them and engage in more discussion.
- CrystalLangUser 8y agoThe commenter above has a point. For someone who doesn’t know what mastodon is, your comment is indistinguishable from link spam. It's not "regurgitating info", if no one ever visits the link because you didn't provide any context or information (like spam). Please at least provide a short blurb, or some info. - s73v3r_ 8y agoYour entire comment was nothing but a link to Mastodon. Doing that, and not adding any other context or commentary, is spam.
