Dropbox is a nightmare of icons. And they also "politicize" the icons by putting the Paper icon first. I'm sure their A/B testing is showing that everyone loves paper and uses more than any other feature. I've clicked on dozens of times in error and never found a use for it since I rarely interact with dropbox through the website. It's gone now, but remember the rainbow icon? That's how you got to recent file changes (not notifications). Even worse they removed that icon and the functionality entirely (seeing recent file changes across your entire dropbox in one place). I used it daily when I would accidentally move a dropbox folder or fat finger something else I needed to quickly revert.
