This is exactly what I've been looking for. I tried to fill in the gap with org-mode a while back, but I fell out with it. It simply doesn't cross the gap of calendars, ad hoc meetings, etc. I really like how integrated noteplan is cross-device and to my calendars. It "just works" and took me only a few minutes to get setup. The biggest setup pain point is that I didn't have my native calendar integration setup right. 35$ is more than fair for something that would take multiple hours to setup with other tools.
