Acting on the few things that I knew I’d regret if I didn’t try at some point. For me, those were starting a company and living in different countries than I was born in. Getting thousands of hours of experience in something useful - vocation, hobby, whatever - before I got out of school. I was fortunate that I still loved it and it became a career, but even if it hadn’t, I learned what it takes and feels like to get really good at something.
