Just look at the original Macintoshes, the lack of a cooling fan meant the machines suffered from pretty bad chip creep.
The official solution was to pick your machine up and drop it from a height of several inches to re-seat the chips.
Absolutely hilarious.

- amiga-workbench 8y agoI just looked it up again, you're exactly right. Yeah, sudden jolts really wouldn't be healthy for the stem on a CRT.
