Ahh, the electric scooter. These do look like a lot of fun, but as someone who's ridden several of the non-electric variety I'd have to say I prefer the stability of a skateboard over one of these 2 wheelers. Why can't I buy a nice electric skateboard with a brake and a handheld controller for a price similar to what these scooters are going for? Seems like electric skateboards are more of a niche/enthusiast market, and they're being priced accordingly.
