Is product management in digital health a good fit for my medtech experience?

I'd like to break into the healthcare tech or digital health industry. However, I do not have any software experience. I do have about 4 years of medical device product development, namely Class II 510(k). I was thinking product management may be a good fit since I have experience developing products in a FDA-regulated environment working with multiple stakeholders such as regulatory affairs, clinicians/physicians and product managers. All other open positions require software experience. Thoughts?
