Once I found that a simple, cheap clothes iron was defended against would-be worn wire fixers (me) by a flat screw slot with a protruding center pin. Fortunately I had a small sharp file to cut a notch in a cheap flat-bladed screwdriver, and all was well. The device doesn't seem to be listed here.
