I agree very much that the question 'Is buying crypto assets "Investing"?' is quite unclear. I would rather ask the questions 'Is buying crypto assets speculative?' (It depends on your intent and ideology.) or 'Is buying crypto assets risky?' (Yes. If you need to ask, your risk model is probably not very quantified.)
