Agree with point on rapid development. Engineering is an iterative process, trying to come up with a perfect system is an anti-pattern. Make something that works and then never stop improving it. Russian Soyuz, SpaceX Merlin, iPhone, ICE, and microprocessors are all examples of where you can get with iterative approach.
