I'm a linux user, sysadmin with very light scripting and I normally use Sublime or VI. I tried Code out last year and been using it for all kinds of things, markup files, python, css files. Gotta say, Code is pretty nice for free and very multipurpose. Kinda worried after seeing that article today that bing search cant be turned off in Code, no idea whats thats about.
