- eropple 8y agoWhy, exactly? Be specific.
- jahvo 8y agoIt's a weird address that was going to cause problems like this
- ukblewis 8y agoBut exactly like the commenter stated. Part of the goal is to fix IPs like this being inaccesible. This DNS is both easy to access and using what should be, a perfectly accessible IP
- saagarjha 8y agoIt's a nice, short, memorable address that Cloudflare has every right to use. What's wrong here?
- asdsa5325 8y agoWhat's weird about it? It's a valid IP address, the fact that they are all 1's isn't noteworthy except it's easy to remember.
- mirimir 8y agoIt seems a somewhat popular pattern for DNS: 1.1.1.1 1dot1dot1dot1.cloudflare-dns.com 2.2.2.2 not found 3.3.3.3 not found 4.4.4.4 not found 5.5.5.5 not found 6.6.6.6 not found 7.7.7.7 not found 8.8.8.8 google-public-dns-a.google.com 9.9.9.9 dns.quad9.net
- yubiox 8y agoBecause some ATT and Cisco devices use that address already. There is no reason to need to remember it.
