This is also common in higher-end nightclubs and bars in the U.S., although these aren't full-time jobs and the attendants work mostly for tips.

- monocasa 8y agoOr just strip clubs in general. I was in the most ghetto strip club I've ever heard about (unpainted cinder block walls), but they had an attendant.
- pbrb 8y agoThat's to keep ppl from rubbing one out my man.
- monocasa 8y agoHaha, that makes sense.
- fencepost 8y agoThings even (especially?) the skeeviest strip club owner doesn't want happening on the premises: drug use, drug trade, prostitution. And the skeevier the club the more likely that some of the clientele would be involved in one or more of the above.

- blackbagboys 8y agoI’m a little curious as to why this comment, of all comments, has attracted downvotes. Is there something about the comparison between these two types of bathroom attendant positions I’m overlooking? Genuinely curious
- pault 8y agoMy brother does this. He makes about $300 per weekend, which supplements his income working in a call center. The real reason he's there is to stop people from trashing the bathroom and using drugs in the club.
