I have a friend with a Chemical Engineering degree. Recently he decided to change careers and go into Med School. He tells me of how it's ridiculous how various concepts in medecine could be replaced by a simpler one from physics. If I remember correctly he gave an example about fluids. (I believe he could revolutionize the field of medecine) As I wrote in another reply, I guess I was wrong about assuming humility in others.
