I tried doing this to my AMS1 region VC1L server but after powering off/on the server it was still using the old hypervisor (C2xxx atom). I noticed that the Start Range servers are all out of stock so I suppose they did fallback to old ones. (I've already opened a ticket with them). Edit: Just received a second message from them. Turns out I a missed part of their blog post that says that the update is not yet available in AMS1 region.
