Please consider using default scrolling
- pwg 8y agoWhat browser were you using. Scrolling works perfectly in Firefox 57 on Linux.
- tbolt 8y agoiOS Safari
- efrafa 8y agoTo clarify, its kinetic scrolling that is broken.
- pwg 8y agoInteresting. Because with Firefox 59 for Android, both kinetic and inertial scrolling work as expected (just tested). Odd that it does not work for iOS Safari.
- lern_too_spel 8y agoThat's your problem. iOS Webkit has buggy scrolling behavior if you use fixed position elements or iframes. Unfortunately, Apple won't allow non-buggy browsers on their platform, so there's nothing you can do about it.
- maccard 8y agoIt’s our problem that developers feel the need to override the default scrolling behaviour which works perfectly across all devices on all platforms?
- kuschku 8y agoThe developer hasn’t override any of the scrolling behaviour, the browser just handles position:fixed incorrectly.
- letsgetphysITal 8y agoNo it's not my problem. I just won't visit your site. It's most definitely your problem.
- SSLy 8y agothat sounds like ie6 all again.
- iaml 8y agoWhat you are describing was a problem with inconsistent scrolling behaviour, and it was fixed. On this site scrolling is just completely broken and it's dev's fault. Edit: problem is overflow-y: auto
