My smartcard can do about one, maybe two SSH authentications per second. I don't think it would be much faster with TLS, even with caching the sessions.

- cryptonector 8y agoWell, if you leave the session ticket decryption key off the token, resumption won't be slow. But 2/s is beyond abysmal for new sessions.
