I would rather see a stripe through my schedule, say 1pm-3pm everyday, that could be used for meetings. I actually enjoy the break sometime and the sidebars on the way to and after the meeting are sometimes great ways to get micromeetings done. Having the rest blocked gives me a two solid blocks of three hours to do stuff.
