It’s a pretty serious problem if public company executives who choose how to spend investors dollars actually believe SpaceX’s famous people are on Mars. Then they pay SpaceX to start carrying goods to Mars to sell to the Martians. SpaceX obliges with multi-million dollar contracts, knowing they don’t have a way to get to Mars but have some rockets that can put satellites into orbit (not the same). We’d all see the problem with such a situation. People with a 6th grade knowledge on space travel understand that the commercials were BS marketing and we should fire the executives for not knowing the same or doing their due diligence. We’d be mad at SpaceX for taking advantage of companies and failing to reach Mars as promised.
