This is no joke. It reminds me of when Skype used to be secure then somehow a backdoor was introduced following (or before?) the acquisition by Microsoft. History repeats itself, and humans have yet to learn from the past.
- tptacek 8y agoIn this case, strong E2E encryption was introduced after the acquisition (though presumably it had been in the works previously).

- zero_intp 8y agoPardon my skepticism, but Microsoft has most definitely advertised to the TLAs that Skype communications are available for review.
