Am I correct in assuming that this action is being taken because GDPR goes into effect on May 1, 2018?
- Shivetya 8y agothey have a UK site and it is bound by GDPR so we need to look further, Verizon probably which bought their parent?
- detaro 8y agoThe German "last post" says "Our parent company Oath has decided to concentrate it's efforts in Germany on the broader portals yahoo.de, aol.de and huffingtonpost.de".
- pcunite 8y agoGDPR goes into effect on May 1, 2018? It becomes enforceable on May 25, 2018
- inetsee 8y agoSorry. The GDPR FAQs website I landed on said that it "will be in force in May"; I leapt to the assumption that that meant May 1.
