Totally agree, however, there is a fine balance between delivering on shipping promises to the stakeholders as a company and trying to perfect the hardware to the point where sales suffer. I believe there is no right answer. Intuitively I feel a bias towards shipping gives Silicon Valley it’s advantage. Also comes with the trade offs like you mentioned and other stuff in the news lately.
