I have been working for a non-profit in the health sector for 12 years now and only occasionally do gigs in enterprisey environments for serious money. For me, going to bed each night, knowing lifes have been saved, has been enough reward. That and the fact that my work is 100% remote - I am writing this with a scotch in front of me at a North African beach ;)
