The "S" and "Command" keys kept falling off on my '16 MBP. Replaced them at $12/piece a few days ago from an online store.
My issue appears to have been the brackets on the keys themselves perhaps broke or wore down over time due to how impressively fast and heroically accurate I type.
- 9935c101ab17a66 8y agoApple Stores CAN get the keycaps for these models. I think they default to replacing the top case because replacing the keycaps themselves don't always resolve the issue, but if you ask nicely at the apple store they may be willing to give you a few extra key caps if you're willing to install them yourself!
