I really enjoyed going to the theater to see Isle of Dogs (at Alamo). Sure, it wasn't cheap but the experience was great and it's not much more expensive than the nice dinner + drinks people do every weekend.
The problem for movie theaters is that while I enjoy the experience, I'll only go max twice a year.
- pc86 8y agoI've only been to an Alamo once, it was amazing. Unfortunately the closest one to me is an hour away and I'm not willing to dedicate the better part of a day to seeing a movie and having some (admittedly very good) popcorn. I probably only go once every 3 or 4 months so not much more than you. But if there was an Alamo within a short drive I'd probably go more often.
