"Looks fake" was my first impression as well.
Based on the existing information, this looks to be a phone running on Android. And it'll be preinstalled with Uber and Facebook messenger.
So it's a minimalist phone for people who don't care about privacy? I don't get it.
- donttrack 9y agoI agree. I was kind of hoping for a phone that just does call and SMS and browsing.
- hsljekskfh 9y agothe light phone 1 did just sms and calls, the light phone 2 expands on that. i guess blloc is just a modernist phone? blloc and lightphone both stand out from other phones because they have a greyscale ui, which lets them use eink for something like 10x battery life. that’s the selling point, i think. edit: nevermind, this is lcd but still saves on battery life bc it’s greyscale
