The schadenfreude is strong with this one. Maybe next time try treating your researchers less like cattle and start paying them market value salaries.
- Radim 9y agoTrouble is, it's not really a "market". EU universities are (mostly) subsidized from other people's taxes, so calling for "market salaries" is essentially calling for increased taxation. A tough sell, especially given the distant, lukewarm connection between the people paying and the people being paid.
