So I'm very good at taking initiative and owning problems myself---I put a huge focus on learning in my own time, I love the challenge of a new unique problem or tool, I'll frequently come into work with a new idea of how we can make a product we're working on/our workflow/etc better in some way. I don't know how to show this to interviewers in the very brief time I have with them during screenings/technical interviews in most cases. I do research into any tools they use before the interview and do my homework on the company and interviewers. Do you have any advice on how we show initiative to employers?
