Family owned businesses, parents working hard to educate kids, parents holding high expectations for children etc. Both political parties in this country seem to undermine black families, Conservatives through thinly concealed racist policies and the war on drugs, Liberals through social programs that foster dependence on government rather than elevation to independence.
