I've definitely thought about this. I live in San Diego, where the cost of living is very very high. If I relocated to somewhere cheaper, I could probably work for 40% less than what I need to make in SD. But it's unnerving to be in a spot where you MUST work remote. I've been working remote for over a decade now, but I'm still kinda amazed I've managed to keep it up for this long.
