This. Being able to work on code that you (or the person sitting next to you) didn't write is fundamental but often ignored in university courses.
- johnvanommen 8y agoMy number one complaint about University Courses. We didn't spend a single minute doing what most of my job consists of: reading someone elses code and trying to decipher what the heck they were trying to do.
- collyw 8y agoOne you have done enough of it it maddens you enough not to make the same shitty mistakes. Keep things as simple as possible and no simpler.
