If megacorp buys a promising startup and thwarts it, then does this also create a new opportunity to fill the space left by the startup?
- ajdecon 16y agoPerhaps; but it seems likely to me that another startup in the same niche would find it harder to be acquired, as megacorp #1 doesn't need another acquisition, and other megacorps might not choose to enter that space themselves. A new startup in that space might have to be bootstrapped, which might not be an appealing option.
