This is a good write up but the actual implementation is... questionable. I put in my actual street address when booking an Uber and the app keeps “helpfully” putting the blue dot on the other side of the street. Then the driver needs to cut across 4 lanes of traffic to get to me. I report it to Uber, it gets fixed for a couple of weeks then breaks again.
