- philliphaydon 9y agoIsn’t the highest stable just over 10gigz??

- userbinator 9y agoNo, ~9GHz is the fastest real one I've seen: https://valid.x86.fr/show_oc.php?id=2385966 https://valid.x86.fr/show_oc.php?id=2385966 More details: http://www.theoverclocker.com/9-ghz-barrier-falls-hard-amd-hits-milestone-with-9062-mhz-validated/ http://www.theoverclocker.com/9-ghz-barrier-falls-hard-amd-h...
- lettergram 9y agoThe thing here is they overclocked all the cores at 6Ghz. P4s was single if I recall.
- robin_reala 9y agoMostly, although the Pentium D used two Prescott P4 cores: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pentium_D https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pentium_D
- Zardoz84 9y agoSome one managed to put a 486 to 1GHz using liquid nitrogen (Probably I read it wrong)
- Symmetry 9y agoPOWER6 had stock clocks that went up to 5 GHz. I wonder what the most someone has overclocked one of those to is?
