There, fixed it. These are celebrities within the field and there’s nothing surprising about their pay. YouTube celebrity pays more but I suppose you take what you can get.

- nmca 9y agoThis is correct. There are many people who would pass up on many a hedge fund position (and the associated difference in compensation) to work with Geof, Yann, Schmidhuber, Goodfellow, Zoubin etc. People know this; the salaries honestly don't seem wholly disproportionate in light of it.
