- kbumsik 8y agoI'm confused. How they could use FoundationDB when Apple aquired it a long time ago? Did apple sell the software to other companies?
- panghy 8y agoWe worked on the codebase independently (we have escrow). We run petabyte-scale clusters in aws.
- nlavezzo 8y agoFoundationDB was a company that existed in the market, licensing our database technology for quite a while. Licenses don't necessarily terminate upon acquisitions.
