Despite the issues, I can definitely argue that using alexa has made my life more convenient. A lot of the skills are still awkward to use but I can 100% say that voice control has taken a lot of friction out of certain parts of my life. i.e. music, news, the time, etc while getting ready in the morning or taking a shower.
