I agree with him completely, but I also know that most 'Data Scientists' are just people who know bit of excel and have a head for numbers. I think we just need to be realistic, if your job is to collate sales results every month and create a presentation about something interesting the data, your aren't really a scientist and you can probably just use Excel.
