Your comment intrigued me so I went on some quick reading. Worth pointing out that the group at play in Southern France seemed to be predominantly Corsican - though not to say that Scilians or the Scilian Mafia were not involved.

Ah good point, different islands. There probably are links between those groups but still, different islands, my bad.
