There were never warnings at that time. Tesla just worded it like that to mislead people. It only talks about videos early in the drive.
- shkkmo 8y agoI think the wording is pretty clear, but I think people didn't take the time to fully read the press release, just skimmed it. This seems pretty clear: "The driver had received several visual and one audible hands-on warning earlier in the drive and the driver’s hands were not detected on the wheel for six seconds prior to the collision."
