AFAIK the official website is taler.net.
The bad english and the new domain suggest that one should be carefull for some more official confirmation.
EDIT: I reached someone from the project on IRC. This is a know scam.
- mikegerwitz 8y agoGood catch: https://www.gnu.org/software/taler/ https://www.gnu.org/software/taler/ I'll contact Christian Grothoff today and make sure nothing suspicious is going on and ask him to update the GNU forward if the domain has indeed changed.
- anonymouz 8y agoThe WHOIS data for gnutaler.org seems possibly fishy too. Lists an address in Germany, but the city/state name are not actual cities/states and the country code is turkey.
